News : Live Music at Columbus Days
At Columbus Days 2011, you’ll have plenty of chances to “Discover the Music.” Live music starts tonight with the Community Band Concert in Frankfort Square.
The Street Stage (14th St./26th Ave.) features “Sidestep” Friday night and the Reunion Bands Saturday, including Thudwinker, Smoke Ring, and Freedom Road.
Through the weekend, live entertainment will be on-stage in the Square. The “Sugar Free All-Stars will entertain the kids Saturday at 10:30am. The “Tijuana Gigolos” are the lunchtime entertainment Saturday on the Street Stage and the Columbus Jazz Orchestra takes over in Frankfort Square at 1:30. Jazz guitarist Kyle Asche is on-stage at 5:00pm.
Sunday will include the Harmony Boys Polka Band at 12:30 and “Maverick” at 2:00.
