Taste of Columbus 2009 Auction Items
1) It’s a bite of the Big Apple that’s become an annual favorite! A
couple will fly to New York City for a very special 4-day getaway. Tom
Murdoch, director of the HDR office in New York, will be your guide for
two days and take care of all your transportation while you are in the
city. Pinnacle Bank will pay for your lodging up to $200 per night and

3) This package honors Andrew Jackson Higgins and the memorial that

steel. This print was created by local artist Bill Haack and donated by
the builder of the Freedom Memorial, Jim Hellbusch. Then, to better get
to know the man himself, you can take a trip for two to New Orleans!
Talk with some of those who experienced first-hand the impact of this
native son of Columbus and the company he founded. You will have
entrance into the National WW II Museum, including the brand-new
“Solomon Victory Theater” which opens Nov. 6th. The theater will be the

produced by Tom Hanks that takes viewers on an authentic experience of

radio stations in Columbus. The successful bidder has 35 30-second
commercials to use on each of the five Columbus radio stations.

7) This limited edition print is number 1 of 25, created by Tim
Cumberland of PhotoExperts.net. The print uses High Dynamic Range
Imaging (HDRI), a technique that merges several images into one. More
than 300 photographs were taken for this project at the Higgins Memorial
and the final montage includes 56 of those photos. The project required
50 hours of computer time in addition to the photography and the final
result is a priceless keepsake and a stunning tribute to one of
America’s truly great men and a native son of Columbus – Andrew Jackson
Higgins. The print is matted and custom framed and includes a
certificate of authenticity. The successful bidder also receives two
gift boxes of personalized note cards featuring the Higgins print.
